People at Palm Terrace Apartments can meet their neighbors at any of the following programs:

• Monday, 1-2 pm, Reading to Children in the Community Room
• Thursday, 10:30-12 noon, A free English As A Second Language class in Community Room

Activities at Lakeside:

People at Lakeside Apartments can meet their neighbors at any of the following programs:

• Reading to Children in Spanish, Tuesdays in the Community Room, 10-11 am
• Computers for Seniors, Wednesdays from 12-2 pm in the Community Room
• Community Garden Planning Committee, Wednesday evening at 6 pm, every other week
• English as a Second Language, Thursdays from 12:30-2 pm in the Community Room
• Reading and games in English for the children of ESL parents, Thursdays from 12:30-2 pm
• Bingo, free for everyone with prizes, 2nd and 4th Friday, from 10-12 noon

The mission of the Lakeside and Palm Terrace Action Team is to build community solidarity and create leaders for the Monument Corridor.
